Hitched on the Taylor is the wedding and events venue at Harmels on the Taylor, 6748 County Road 742, Almont, Colorado 81210. This page explains what happens to your information when you use hitchedonthetaylor.com. If anything here is unclear, email us at [email protected] or call (970) 641-1740.

Information you give us

This website has no contact form of its own. You reach us in one of three ways, and each one shares different information:

  • Email or phone. We receive whatever you choose to tell us — usually your name, contact details and your wedding or event plans.
  • Our inquiry form. The “Contact Us Today” button opens a form hosted by Aisle Planner, the event-planning service we use. What you enter there goes to Aisle Planner and then to us, and is covered by Aisle Planner’s privacy policy.
  • Blog comments. If you leave a comment, we store the name, email address and comment you submit, along with your IP address and browser details, which help us filter spam.

We use this information to answer you, plan and run your event, and keep our own business records. We do not sell it, rent it, or use it for advertising.

Information collected automatically

  • Server logs. Like most websites, our server records the pages requested, the time, the browser type and the IP address. We use these for security and troubleshooting.
  • Cloudflare. Our site sits behind Cloudflare, which protects it from attacks and speeds it up. Cloudflare processes visitors’ IP addresses and may set a security cookie to tell people from bots. We also use Cloudflare’s aggregate traffic measurement, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you.
  • Google Fonts and Google Maps. Our pages load fonts from Google, and the contact page embeds a Google map. When those load, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies. This is governed by Google’s privacy policy.

We do not run advertising trackers or analytics that follow you across other websites.

Cookies

We do not set cookies to track you. You may still receive cookies from Cloudflare (security), from Google (the embedded map and fonts), or from WordPress if you leave a comment or sign in to the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

Who else sees your information

Only the services that help us run the venue: Aisle Planner for inquiries and event planning, our website host and Cloudflare for the site itself, and our email providers for messages we send and receive. We also share information when the law requires it. Links to other sites, including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and photographers’ websites, are not covered by this policy.

How long we keep it

Inquiries and event records are kept for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our tax and business obligations. Comments stay until we remove them.

Your choices

Email [email protected] to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. We will respond as soon as we reasonably can, and Colorado residents have rights over their personal data under state law.

Children

This website is meant for adults planning events. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
